Bed Bath & Beyond is closing at least 12 stores across Massachusetts. The company is shuttering its locations in North Dartmouth, Raynham, North Attleboro, Dedham, Hudson, Burlington, Leominster, Hadley and Pittsfield. The company also announced in December that it was closing its stores in Seekonk, Milford and Dorchester. The closures are part of the chain's nationwide plan as it works to stave off a bankruptcy. Executives said in August that they planned to lay off 20 percent of their workforce and close 150 more of its "lower-producing" locations. In total, the chain will have shuttered more than 400 stores nearly HALF of all locations.
