It's been a while since the last time we brought daggers into the channel. In this video we have instructor Miguel, using a sidesword and dagger, and instructor Rui, with rapier and dagger. Of course it's not without it's challenges and handicaps for each but this this session had a different focus- It served mainly as a testing ground for the new Ferrara gear prototypes.
The Ferrara line is a collaboration between Swordshop.ca and our instructor, and resident artist, Rui. This gear is designed to excel in both light and heavy sparring and make you look stylish in the process. Rui has been rigorously testing these prototypes in recent sessions, offering valuable feedback to refine their design and functionality.
You'll notice Rui is wearing a size up for these tests, which makes the jacket look a little bulkier than the final version will be—rest assured, the finished product will have a sleek, and more tailored fit.
