Age of War is a simple 2D scrolling strategy game created with some pretty basic assets and other visual and gameplay elements. It’s played online where the players take control of one of the sides in five different ages of technology, starting with the cavemen phase and ending up in the modern times. Aside from auto-advancing, auto-attacking units, the players in Age of War game can also build turrets on their base and micromanage the fragile economy of the game so they can purchase new units.
In all, Age of War gameplay does not look that great but it definitely provides an enjoyable real-time strategy experience, especially for an online RTS. Right now, anyone can try it out for free on the Armor Games portal.
