Neuropathic pain: Physical examination sensory tests

Описание: The diagnosis of neuropathic pain requires a targeted history and physical examination, which includes sensory testing. This video is a demonstration of 3 sensory tests - light touch, pinprick and dynamic mechanical allodynia - on a patient with possible radicular back pain. These sensory tests may be performed for patients with all neuropathic pain presentations (comparing painful areas to non-painful sites/areas).
