I swear, I’m my mind this was going to be soooo easy to build…..I was sooo wrong!! Next time I’m simply going to use a router and some polycarbonate glass.
I was hoping it would change the sound of the bag hitting the curved surface of the tubing vs the flat surface of a regular platform. It changed the sound some but not a whole lot. Looks pretty damn cool though.
33’ of 3/4”OD x 1/2”ID vinyl tubing with LED rope light fed through the tubing and then into a chamber where the swivel is to light up the swivel.
I made small pilot holes in the top side of the tubing that were big enough to let the head of 165 coarse thread 1” screws be drilled through the tubing to hold it in place.
This was a total pain in the ass lol!! Live and learn.
