Описание: On this video you can see a typical step splicing of a multiply conveyor rubber belt with the patented hybrid vulcanizing material Multiface 5, by using a vulcanizing press with an airbag pressure system. Due to the benefits of the unique vulcanizing material Multiface, a low surface pressure of only 3.5 bar/50 psi and a low curing temperature of only 80°C (173°F) was used to perform full vulcanization. The vulcanizing press has been opened immediately after only 30 minutes active heating. As Multiface is heat resistant up to 120°C (266°F) it was possible to re-start the conveyor belt immediately without any cooling. This solution allows an unmatched short downtime, but with all advantages of a durable hot splicing. The material consumption for 800 mm (31.5") belt width and 650 mm (25.5") splice lenght was approx. 600 g/m2 (0,122 lb/ft2), despite the uncovered absorbing fabric.
