"Growing up in El Salvador & Dominican Republic, Miriam and Dalton Espaillat knew street food to be how their communities came together. Pupusas were enjoyed on Friday and Saturday nights in the neighborhood with other families with music and dancing. Their mothers cooking together with others in preparing traditional food all made by hand.
