I recently watched the new Barbie movie!
And it got me thinking about the animated Barbie movies we grew up on. I was fortunate enough to have been able to watch them as they came out when I was younger. I had the copies from “Nutcracker” to “A Christmas Carol”. And now, even though I wasn’t able to catch up on the latest ones, it’s nice to look back once in a while on Barbie’s iconic roles through the years. They all showed traits of strength and courage, and that if you have a pure heart with good intentions, then you can conquer anything. Aside from these important lessons, the Barbie movies also gifted up with amazing songs! One of these songs is “Written in Your Heart” from “Princess and the Pauper”. Isn’t it so cool how a song that was just catchy to us when we were children now holds more meaning when we are adults?
