Join me on an evening adventure to catch a lovely sunset from one of North Carolina's most iconic peaks - Hawksbill in Linville Gorge. This moderate 2-mile round trip hike offers stunning 360-degree views of the "Grand Canyon of the East" and marks my first return to the area since Hurricane Helene. I also meet up with some new friends from one of the local North Carolina Hiking Groups (one of which was celebrating a birthday).
