Visitors Geo-Location Map - Analyze Your Visitor Locations

Описание: The Map section of TWIPLA (Visitor Analytics) provides a nice overview of your visitors’ geo-locations. Use this view to see from which countries, regions, and cities your website receives its traffic.

In this video, we can see the visitors Map for the TWIPLA website. It shows the approximate geo-locations of the visitors that came to the website in the last 4 weeks.

For every visitor that browsed your website, a pin is placed on the map at approximate coordinates. Please note that due to privacy concerns, internet service providers only release data with accuracy within several kilometers of the actual location. This, however, does not harm the valuable information you are getting out of this module.

When we click on a visitor pin, we can see very helpful details such as:

The Country
The Device Type used, in this case mobile
The Operating system
And the Browser used
To get more details about this visitor and his past visits, click on “See user history”
When there are more visitor locations in a certain area of the globe, they are clustered together so that you can have a good overview of the number of visitors coming from there. For example, from this area of the United States, we have 987 visitors. Once we click this green bubble, it will zoom-in and we can see a detailed overview of this particular region.

Using the time filters at the very top, we can view the data for any given period of time. Changing the filter to Today will refresh the map and display only the visitors that accessed the website during the current day.

The Map view helps you figure out the most common locations of your visitors so that you can improve the browsing experience, specialize your content to regional needs and check which language translations you should consider for your website!
