DPS’ Aircraft Operations Division (AOD) plays a critical role in public safety — from apprehending fugitives to aiding in rescue operations. Earlier this week, AOD personnel conducted a helicopter hoist rescue demonstration in Austin, as part of a two-day aircraft public safety training.
