Personally the difficulty feels much lower, since the lava itself is not threatening at all, most of the time you do not see it coming, only except when you are late for the last button. Overall the gameplay blends in with the map design very well, not using obvious platforms so the map looks realistic on its own. While nothing much really happens, the simplicity speaks for itself.
