finally documented in this video, the big difference. AS works PERFECT. AV doesnt, with no ij, mj, needle, i was able to get it right, till i tried an AS and everything made sende once of a sudden.

it is not explainable with the classic dellorto graph regarding slide opening, as atomiaer is area C highspeed from 25% on. BUT as we see in the video: it enrichens A and B where only ij and slide are supposed to act.
Dellorto - i asked them - cant really explain it. But there is an assumption: shorter atomiser = more low pressure to suck out fuel. still doesnt fit the classic dellorto graph 🤔


CARBURETTOR BUY:
when you buy one always pay attention to the different settings provided:
dellorto "R3343 2 stroke" is the correct one with AS atomizer
dellorto "R4048 2 stroke vespa lambretta" comes with AV atomizer
note: both need bigger float needle: 300 no fuel pump

sad and funny:
malossi phbh30 carb set M1615895 never nowhere not shown which setting the carb comes with, which totally makes sense, doesnt it (...)
a pig in a poke you buy, in the end.

(yes, you may have heared, its not PERFECTLY set this carb. its just some testriding of a new VMC 186)

vmc 177 superG, phbh30, mazzucchelli longstroke 186cc, head gasket of course ;) polinibox, cyl & intake timings and exhaust port set
