If you struggle with uphill running, use weighted workouts.
These can be either separate or combined exercises.
For example: 3–5 squats at 50–60% of your max + 6–10 vertical jumps, 3–5 sets per session.
This way, you’ll activate more motor units in your muscles, making uphill running more efficient and easier.
The key is to keep strength training with weights as a separate training block — not right before a race.
