Installation Summary

1. Crate disassembly, box moving and recycling is 1 person job with effort, but 2 is preferred for bulk items.
2. Frame assembly was 1 person job.
3. Frame levelling was 1 person job.
4. Slate lifting is 4 person job. I also bought 2 frame dollys:

5. Slate levelling was 1-2 person job.
6. Slate binding using super glue and beezwax was 1 person job
7. Felt installation was 2 person job (adhesive spray + staples for cushion). I wanted to do staples all over but the frame had not enough room for staple gun. Felt installation was by far the most difficult part for an amateur first time.
8. Rail installation is 2 person job due to lifting after assembly.

Overall, it a bit of work and takes time to coordinate multiple people and stages. I also spent about $300-$400 dollars on tools for installation.

I ultimately still opted for self installation since I want to learn and will need to move it eventually in the future, so it’s an investment.
