In this episode, Rob and his friend Adam go canoe camping on The Allagash Wilderness Waterway. They put in at Chamberlain Bridge into Chamberlain Lake then head over to Lock Dam and portage over to Eagle Lake. From there they paddle to Pillsbury Island where they stayed at Thoreau Campsite. Tomorrow they head up to the Ghost Trains of Maine and portage through back into Chamberlain Lake.
Meg stays behind at camp with the dogs, does some gardening, and reads a book about The Allagash by the wife of a Maine Guide who lived there in the 1930's. Tomorrow she gets BIG news!
