In this video, we explore a new VPC Lattice enhancement that lets you attach custom domain names to your resource configurations. This update expands how teams expose and access layer-4 resources—such as databases, clusters, and internal domains—across VPCs and AWS accounts.
With this release, resource owners can assign a custom domain to a resource configuration and share it with consumers, who can then access the resource through that domain. VPC Lattice automatically manages a private hosted zone in the consumer’s VPC, making cross-VPC connectivity simpler and more consistent.
