Finally got the car going pretty good. One or two little things just to fine tune and get another few hundredths of a second per lap, namely the brakes working right to help set the car. But then Heat two and someone took exception to my driving and gave a little back. Stockcars and Superstocks is a contact class where hitting is not only allowed but encouraged. It's what the crowd comes to see. There are a couple of rules around contact, one is no wind offs, that's where you pick a car up and drive them all the way into the wall. This hit was quite legal in that the attacking car disengaged before we hit the wall. While I didn't rate it as a huge hit, I certainly felt it. I came up with some clues as to why.
1. It was a very hot day and I wasn't hydrated enough.
2. My seat is a little too big for me, a 16" instead of a 15" I used to run in a previous car.
3. My belts were perhaps not set right or tight enough.
Xrays were clear, nothing a little time won't fix.
