Hello and welcome to…..well my office. I’m Valerie Strong and I’m Lauren Lettelier and we are here with your Daily Crime Report First at Five-sh.
As you know today is Turn’em in Tuesday and our wanted person for today is 41 year old David Michael Oliver. He has a felony Violation of Probation warrant for Grand Theft. If you have any information on his whereabouts please call Crime Stoppers of Marion County at 352-368-STOP and reference 16-40 in your tip.
And now on for to your crime report:
A pink and black Honda ATV was stolen from a home in the 11-thousand 9-hundred block of Southeast 141st Terrace. Total loss is $600.
Sometime between April 9th and April 11 someone stole the tires and rims from a 2001 Ford Expedition while it was parked at Let’s Deal Auto Sales on South Pine Ave. Total loss is $500.
Someone entered a home in the 600 block of Southwest 38th Ave and stole two televisions for a total loss of over $600.
A home in the 8700 block of Southwest 66th Terrace was entered and someone stole a ruger handgun and a Sony Playstation for a total loss of $800.
Deputies Maslan and Gago responded to the northbound rest area on I-75 in reference to a report of an impaired driver in a vehicle in the parking lot. Luis Carbo was found passed out in the driver’s seat with the vehicle in drive, keys in the ignition, and no pants on. Once Luis came to, indicators for impairment were observed. Luis failed the Field Sobriety Tests. He was arrested and transported to the Gold Star hotel where he refused to provide a breath sample. A check of his driving history revealed two prior convictions for D.U.I.
