Описание: KSRTC Free Trip : KSRTCയിൽ സ്ത്രീകളുടെ സൗജന്യ യാത്ര മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇന്നത്തെ മന്ത്രിസഭായോഗം അംഗീകാരം നൽകും. യുഡിഎഫിന്റെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് വാഗ്ദാനങ്ങളിൽ പ്രധാനമായിരുന്നു സ്ത്രീകൾക്ക് സൗജന്യ യാത്ര. ഓർഡിനറി ബസുകളിൽ മാത്രമായി സൗജന്യ യാത്ര പരിമിതപ്പെടുത്താനാണ് സർക്കാർ നീക്കം എന്നാണ് സൂചന. ഈ മാസം 15 മുതൽ സൗജന്യ യാത്ര അനുവദിക്കാൻ ആദ്യ മന്ത്രിസഭായോഗമാണ് തീരുമാനം എടുത്തത്.

The Cabinet meeting scheduled for today is expected to approve the guidelines for the free travel scheme for women on KSRTC buses. Free travel for women was one of the key election promises of the UDF. Indications suggest that the government plans to limit the scheme initially to ordinary KSRTC buses only. The first Cabinet meeting had earlier decided to implement the free travel facility from the 15th of this month.
