Hello, I'm Heather Jo Flores. Welcome to the free emotional permaculture workshop that I've put together. I'm doing this partially as a service to the community because I think it's a really important topic. And I think that our daily self care and creative practice is really at the root of our abilities and should be at the root of our design as permaculture people. And I also believe that if you're not familiar with permaculture, but you're on a personal journey of transformation and healing, that some really basic permaculture skills can help you so much. So I'm super geeked out on this intersection of self care and mental health and creative process and permaculture and I've been working in this intersection for a long time. So I'm really excited to finally have a chance to bring this knowledge to you. This is just going to be a quick overview. And then I'm also offering this as a publicity and outreach to those of you who are interested in getting involved in the permaculture women's guild in the first ever all women's online permaculture design course. We are a community of thinkers and artists and farmers and travelers and agrarians, and we are a community of people who want to work together to evolve the human species and perhaps to survive what seems like an inevitable apocalypse at this point. So meanwhile, we want to enjoy our lives and fill our hearts with joy and help people. So I'm trying to figure out how to do all this stuff and sharing what I discover with y'all. How does the healing of our little hearts and bodies connect to the healing of our families, of our communities, of the planet, of the nonhuman species? OK.
