We took our Mahindra Thar 4x4 from the heat of Delhi to the sub-zero temperatures of Spiti Valley! This wasn't just a drive; it was a test of man and machine. Joining me are my wife, my brother-in-law, and his wife as we navigate through frozen landscapes, hidden villages, and the legendary white desert of the Himalayas.
In this vlog, I’m sharing our complete 7-day winter itinerary, including road conditions, stays, and how the Thar handled the snow.
📍 Our Route:
• Day 1: Delhi to Kufri (The climb begins)
• Day 2: Kufri to Sangla (Into the Baspa Valley)
• Day 3: Sangla to Chitkul (The last village of India)
• Day 4: Chitkul to Nako & Tabo (Frozen lakes and ancient monasteries)
• Day 5: Tabo to Kaza (Heart of Spiti)
• Day 6 & 7: Kaza to Shimla & back to Delhi (The long haul home)
