Fish ONLY challenge! || WolfQuest Anniversary Edition

Played on Accurate, any map (Slough Creek recommended)
Can only eat fish.

There are two ways to get an eagle to drop a fish:
Sleeping to despawn it (   • How to get fish || WolfQuest Anniversary E...  )
Or letting it get far enough from you for it to despawn naturally. Keep the eagle in your sight, but run away until it disappears. Then run to the spot it was last seen at; fish should be there.

Having scent glow on is very helpful.
Keep in mind ALL PLAYERS need to have the eagle out of their render distance. If another player is close to it, it will not despawn.

Eagles are more active at sunrise and sunset, but can be seen hunting during midday too. Keep an eye out!

Eagles that are carrying fish will constantly bat their wings.
Empty eagles GLIDE.

You can "reuse" eagles.
After despawning, running towards their spot has a chance of respawning the eagle. If it's close enough to water, there's a chance it will go right back to diving for fish. You can despawn it again and repeat until it flies away.

Similarly, eagles that are not interested in fish (flying away from water) can be despawned for a chance to respawn as fish-hunting eagles. Worth a shot if there's not a lot of them (like during midday).

All players feed as soon as pups are born, one stays with them and raises affinity. The rest of the players go out looking for eagles.
If pups need more food by the end of the day, the player with the highest hunger % can eat a fish or two to be able to regurgitate.

It gets easier when pups are able to eat solids by themselves.

Drinking water is allowed, and encouraged!

NOTE: I personally found it easier to play with LESS players, for eagle despawning reasons. The more players there are, the longer it will take to despawn eagles (since they, again, need to be out of EVERYONE'S render distance to despawn).

In a previous run of this, we got 5 pups to survive with 5 of us hunting fish. I was not filming it, however. Less pups do make it easier, but more pups is still possible!

This is a much harder challenge than my usual, but hopefully some of you still try it! :)
