This production examines the psychological impact of living with type one diabetes. Coping with type one diabetes can be difficult. We hear from people living with type one diabetes, the struggles they've faced and the impact that failure to control the condition can have.
Type one diabetes complications can arise in in early to mid adult life, following a decade or more of poor management. They can be devastating in their impact. Expert advice and intervention can fail to adequately communicate the importance of good blood glucose management.
