1+ hr. Non-Vocal Abstract | Resonant Anomaly: Phase Shift in Human Frequency | 02/17/26a | Jeff Boynton & Rejyna (Citadel) | SSSTAR
We connected instruments, circuits, and intuition until a single living organism emerged, an improvisational ecosystem born from curiosity instead of caution. No prelude, no path, only the raw dialogue between two frequencies discovering each other for the first time. This is what happens when creation outruns control.
Inside those spontaneous moments, something vital stirs: pressure dissolves, cortisol retreats, and thought becomes movement. For an hour, the noise demanding our attention from the outside world fades, replaced by vibration, air, and intention. What’s left feels closer to medicine than music, an electrical form of mindfulness that realigns whatever’s been bent or broken by the day.
If you listen deeply, you may feel space and tension reshaping inside you. The brain thrives on unpredictability; it reaches toward new neural constellations when it can’t predict what sound emerges next. That is the science of chance: the body recalibrates, the breath synchronizes, the pulse evens out. In that sense, this performance isn’t a distraction; it’s an act of repair.
The two of us followed signal instead of script. From dissonance came pattern; from feedback came form. The result is a map of the moment we didn’t plan, painted in sound. We hope it connects you to that same electric stillness we found, a proof that chaos can be coherent, that imagination still holds singular power.
Rejyna & Jeff: Sound Improv Art Filmed at Loopstudio23, Burbank, CA
This work is an invitation. Let it play. Let it fill your room, your commute, your late night thoughts. Let it travel through you more than once until it becomes part of your atmosphere. What you’re hearing is improvisation as survival, hope conducted through wire and waveform, art resisting automation, and humans daring to keep dreaming out loud. These exploratory sessions capture the creative process in real time. The recordings may later be edited to remove extended pauses, off notes, audio glitches, or blank spaces. A typical 40-60 minute live capture can be condensed into a compelling 15-20 minute musical journey. During these performances, audio is recorded directly from the board into StreamlabsOBS. When a trimmed version is made, audio from the board feed and JamMan rigs’ SD card loops is mixed in for enhanced detail.
