Spring in Europe is eagerly awaited, yet it looks different across the continent. As Europe stretches over 5,000 km, its climates and landscapes shape many versions of spring.
Our journey begins in Spain and along the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts, where the first signs of awakening appear while the North is still frozen: young rabbits, migrating cranes, colorful bee-eaters, and courting bustards. Moving through Provence and into the Alps, we see dancing flamingos, wild horses in wetlands, and groundhogs emerging from hibernation.
As spring advances northward, it transforms Europe into a vast, blooming garden—sometimes stormy and misty, sometimes warm and full of light.
