I got hacked. Installed what I thought was a legit package, woke up to a $200 bill from a stolen API key. That's when I stopped trusting tutorials that only show you how to click and started thinking about actual security architecture for AI agents.

This is the three-layer system I built for my OpenClaw setup. Layer 1 is the machine itself -- not that interesting, but you need to get it right. Layer 2 is your ENV variables, and I promise you, most people are doing this dangerously wrong. AND THEN is what I call System 2 — the part that lets your agent access real data like emails and drive without ever touching the sensitive keys. That's the part nobody's covering.
