It is a late night recording... Another steam vs diesel race!
The Baldwin I-5 Hudson 4-6-4 hauling the famous Yankee Clipper, chasing the Alco DL-109 A-A set with the Merchants Limited (New York–Boston) behind. The body of the early diesel engine DL-109 was designed by noted Industrial designer Otto Kuhler. It took only about 10 mins for the I-5 to surpass the DL-109. Baldwin was really good at making conventional steam engine! But do you think the DL-109 could turn the table at last? D:
