I'm finding ways to enjoy Pokémon again as a busy dad. For me, it's about playing it like I did when I was a kid, or evolving the formula and trying new things.
Also, I know that Emerald didn't release in 2008. My parents usually didn't get me the newest stuff when it first came out, so my introduction to Gen 3 was somewhere around 2008.
