Robottipölynimuri Roborock S5 (myyty myös nimellä Roborock 2 S50) lisätiedoissa multi floor trick.

Описание: 1½ vuoden kokeilun jälkeen todella hyödyllinen. Parasta on karttanavigointi ja sovelluksen toiminnot, ilman niitä robotti-imuri ei ole kovin hyödyllinen.
Sovelluksessa saa tehtyä:
-virtuaalisia seiniä ja alueita jonne imuri ei mene
-huoneita ja alueita saa vapaasti muokattua
-imurointeja huonekohtaisesti, myös ajastettuna
Imuri navigoi ja pysyy kartalla jopa pilkkopimeässä laserin avulla.

90m² asunnosta imuri löytää 55m² imurointialaa, aikaa kuluu noin tunti ja akkua kuluu balanced imuteholla kolmasosa. On tärkeää imuroida tarpeeksi usein, 3-4 krt viikossa. Pölysäiliön koko on 4,8dl joten se kannattaa tyhjentää joka imuroinnin jälkeen ettei imuteho laske. Säiliö on imuroinnin jälkeen noin puolillaan.

Pääharja kannattaa uusimisen yhteydessä vaihtaa S5 Max ja S6 malleissa käytettävään harjaan, uudessa harjassa on irrotettavat akselin päät joten sen ympärille kiertyneiden hiusten irrottaminen on huomattavasti helpompaa. Pienempi sivuharja kannattaa säilyttää alkuperäisenä kolmisakaraisena, uudempi viisisakarainen malli ei jaksa pyöriä kunnolla.
Pesin ensimmäistä suodatinta satunnaisesti, nykyistä aion vain kopistella puhtaaksi.

Gigantista S5 Max/S6 pääharja SDZS04RR 14,90€(1kpl), sivuharja SKV4039TY 14,90€(2kpl), suodatin R0012 35€(2kpl).

Pääharjan käyttöikä 300h, sivuharja 200h, suodatin 150h. Vaihdoin kaikki 120 tunnin kohdalla, pääharja selvästi olisi kestänyt vielä käyttöä.

Roboimuri ei korvaa oikeaa imurointia, oikeaa imuria pitää kuitenkin käyttää eteisessä hiekan vuoksi, ja muualla asunnossa lattialistojen päällisten ja muiden vaikeiden paikkojen imurointiin. Mattoja pyörivä harja ei näytä vahingoittavan. Roboimuri ei törmäile seiniin tai tavaroihin ja väistää jopa verhoja. Näppärimmillään imurin voi käynnistää/ajastaa kun lähtee asioille/töihin/kouluun jne. ettei imurin ääni häiritse ketään.
Eteisessä hiekan määrä, keittiössä leivänmurut, yleensäkin pölyn ja kaiken roskan määrä on laskenut ja oikean imurin käytön tarve vähentynyt.

Using this method you can trick the robot into drawing your two (or more?) floors into one floorplan. You literally remote control the robot outside of your house through the front / back door onto a piece of board / plywood, carry it carefully (!) upstairs and then resume mapping the second floor. After you're done the robot will always position itself automatically when you carry it from floor to another. You don't need to use the app at all, just carry the robot and press button to start cleaning. Robot will return to the same spot you left it if it's not on the same floor with the dock. For both floors you can do no-go areas, invisible walls, selected room cleanups. And you don't have to deal with deleting maps, corrupted map versions and then redoing the no-go areas.

Important additional tips: I struggled with this method initially because of one important piece of missing info.

The S5 has a compass (probably other versions too?) so when you drive it out through your door, you need to position the robot so that it keeps driving toward the same compass point. So if in the first floor you drive it out through the front door facing east, you carry the robot upstairs on the piece of board and position the board + robot flat against the wall looking into the room facing east. Don't try to skip this detail, I wasted a lot of time there. The robot will notice the direction has changed and the map gets messed up.
You can naturally also use a balcony or terrace to drive the robot outside the floorplan, just think the directions through carefully before starting. If you have a good first floor map ready, no need to remap. Just start directly from where you remote the unit through the door onto the board. If you have high door steps make a ramp with cardboard or something to enable the robot to climb through the door. If there is a big drop at the door, put something under the plywood board to raise it to the floor level it so that the robot doesn't fall and break.

After each room, leave remote control and draw a small no go zone outside the floorplan. This way the room you just remote controlled through get saved into the new map.After completing the mapping, if the second floor is a grey area on your map (no rooms divided), move the dock up into the second floor and do a full cleanup there. After completion the rooms should be divided and you can move the dock back into the first floor. You need to have a little persistance to make this trick work and it might take a few tries to get it right.
