Shambhunath College of Education (SCE) has been established in the world renowned city of Allahabad by UTTHAN, world class N. G.O. in the year 2016. The Institute is located at Jhalwa, approx 7 Km. from Allahabad Junction, in its own sprawling campus having pollution free natural environment providing excellent academic environment. The institute is affiliated to Allahabad State University. UTTHAN has been working in the field of Environment, Health and Education in various areas of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh for last twenty years. In the field of education, UTTHAN is committed to provide quality education. Founded in 1996, UTTHAN works for poverty alleviation through sustainable development. It operates in surface soil mined areas around cities, degraded forest lands, dry lands and wastelands, under the able guidance of Dr. D. N. Tewari, former Member of Planning Commission, Government of India, and Vice- Chairman State Planning Board, Chhattisgarh.

The UTTHAN deliberately chose the field of technical and professional education with a wider perspective to serve the needs of Indian society through imparting high quality technical and professional education in the field of Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, Management, Law, ITI, Education, and many other contemporary fields of modern relevance with excellence as focal point so that our graduates and post-graduates are globally acceptable.

SCE is successfully functioning with a group of intellectual and dedicated faculty members. Under the able guidance of Prof. (Dr.) G.P Mishra., a renowned academician, the Institute is experiencing an excellent growth day by day with the aim to make it a center of excellence in the field of Teachers’ Education. We believe that the quality of the education system plays a major role in the development of the country as it builds up the human resource of the future. In order to improve the quality of the students at this level, Shambhunath College of Education is determined to provide value based education. The institute provides Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed. formerly known as BTC) course to improve the quality of education in India. Shambhunath College of Education (SCE) affiliated to SCERT and approved by NCTE, New Delhi for D. El. Ed. Programme and for B. B. A. and B. C. A. programme it is affiliated to Allahabad State University, Allahabad. In its very first batch it proved its worth as in the counseling the students of this region prioritize it and ultimately secured top 3 positions in the state merit list.This year the College is starting Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Computer Education (BCA) programmes.

Eligibility Criteria For Various Courses :

D. El. Ed.: Minimum 50% in Graduation, on the basis of Merit from Pariksha Niyamak Pradhikari
BBA: 12th from a recognized educational board with minimum score of 50%.
BCA: Pass in 10+2 examination with minimum 50% aggregate marks in any stream with Mathematics as subject of study from a recognized board of education
