Right out of the box, this fan was a winner. No instructions needed for setup that took a whopping 10 seconds. Another few seconds and we had it mounted and running without putting the batteries on the charger. You could feel airflow coming out of the side and rear vent holes in the intermediate kennel. We left it out in the rain overnight running. The next morning we charged it up and it spun right back up. My favorite part of the whole thing was the fan body has a charge port BUT so does the battery itself so you could have an extra battery charging while running the fan.
