Описание: What is tapasya? We talk about faith and bhakti but how do we do it? For that we need to do tapasya. Does tapasya mean that you have to go to the mountains or go into the caves? If you want ishwar prapti, then you have to do the tapasya. There is no short cut. Sri Krishna says to Arjuna that to respect our elders, our Gurus, our Gods and other human beings, to stay non violent and to stay in the vrat of brahmacharya is the foremost tapasya of the body. To maintain celibacy is not brahmacharya; it is only a small part of that. Brahmacharya means who does not forget his consciousness of from where he came into existence and where he would merge.

Sri Krishna says to Arjuna that words that do not give distress to others, are not hurtful, gives happiness to others is the tapasya of speech. It does not mean you lie. It is better not to speak than speak harsh or wrong words. If you make a conscious effort to reflect upon what you are going to say, you will not speak wrong or hurtful words.
