Jules Schauffler, who is involved in a food justice program at Zion Community Commons in the Hamline-Midway neighborhood of Saint Paul, Minnesota, shares their thoughts on the importance of urban agriculture, what is going well, and what is still needed for a better future.
Urban Ag Field Days are events that invite the community to explore urban farms and gardens in the Twin Cities. Saint Paul Almanac's Storymobile, in collaboration with Renewing the Countryside, was invited to visit the Northeast Market Garden in Minneapolis, Minnesota to ask participants to share their stories and perspectives on urban agriculture.
