Angry mob of villagers in Uttar Pradesh's Ballia district blocked roads and pelted stones at the Police. Several policemen including the Additional SP sustained injuries. While resolving a land dispute issue, police allegedly beat up a man from the village which angered the locals who decided to take the law into their own hands. Further investigation is underway, post-in-charge and the head constable have been suspended over negligence as of now.
