Students who are interested in space science, geospatial technology, remote sensing, and satellite applications now have an opportunity to gain research experience through the External Student Internship Programme offered by
Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, a premier training institute of the
Indian Space Research Organisation.

This internship allows students to work on projects related to remote sensing, GIS, geospatial technology, disaster management, environmental monitoring, and satellite data analysis.

🎓 Who Can Apply?

The internship is open to Indian students pursuing:

• UG (BE / BTech / BSc / Diploma)
• PG (ME / MTech / MSc)
• PhD scholars

Applicants must have:

✔ Minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32 / 10
✔ Background in Science or Technology disciplines

⏳ Internship Duration

Minimum Duration: 45 days
Maximum Duration: Up to 1 year (depending on project)

📅 Application Deadlines

Students can apply twice every year:

• March 31
• October 31
