Train Simulator Classic request video 203. This one was requested by LaserJetJordanScottCrawford and I suspect was chosen as this is a route he recently did in person... or will be very soon.
So for the route we're on the Portsmouth Direct Line route DLC and are starting at Guildford with our final destination being London Waterloo. While I hoped it would be configured as a slow run, it wasn't... so while we stop at all stations that we can (including Woking and Wimbledon, which were specifically asked for) there were a number that we bypass on avoiding lines. Total distance is 30.34 miles.
Our train for this run is a 4-car Class 455 EMU in BR blue/grey livery. I'm a big fan of the 455 and thought it a shame that it was officially retired at the end of last year... however, in a move that is absolutely typical of privatised UK railways, the replacement trains were not forthcoming for some reason or other, so the 455's are still running occasional services.
