Chemically etched and tempered glass that doesn't chip
Hologram sticker of authenticity with a prominent patent number
various designs and sayings to suit your personality
Texture is part of the glass itself - so it is sterilizable and won't wear off.
Hand ground, slightly rounded safety edges

Faked "crystal" files have:
Cheap prices. Authentic files are less than ten bucks EACH, and still include a nice case. How much cheaper do you need to go?
No sticker of authenticity, or if stickered, no patent number.
sprayed on texture - scratch it with a penny and watch what comes off!
Thin untempered glass that will chip and break easily
Textured area is thicker than the handle - thicker files won't fit under your nails!
