🎶 Anders Mogensen is a Danish jazz drummer, educator, and bandleader who has been a prominent figure in both the European and international jazz scenes for over three decades. Born in Holstebro in 1969, he began playing drums at the age of six and later studied classical piano at ten. His formal music education took him to the Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he refined his craft and launched his professional journey.

Throughout his career, Mogensen has collaborated with legendary artists such as Bob Berg, David Liebman, Steve Swallow, Marc Johnson, and the Brecker Brothers. He is currently a member of the Jerry Bergonzi Quartet, Tim Hagans Quartet, and the Walt Weiskopf European Quartet, and has released several albums under his own name, including Taking Off, Just Another Day at the Office, and Gratitude.

As an educator, he serves as an Associate Professor at the Carl Nielsen Academy of Music and has conducted workshops and clinics across Europe, the U.S., Japan, and Brazil3. His playing is often described as both subtle and powerful, earning him recognition as one of the most refined jazz drummers in Europe.
