I’m The Quarterback is a comedic cosplay rap about QB salaries and the clichés used to justify them. This is rapper “Crazy Old Head’s” dream — decking himself out in jerseys with hot cheerleaders and rapping it out. The video features a parody of Stephen A. Smith and pays homage to an Oscar-winning actor.

With leverage enabled by the sports media—ESPN, FOX, NBC, and CBS—quarterback salaries have skyrocketed exponentially!

Comments like:
“Pay him his money”.
“You better pay him or he’ll be unhappy”.
“Other free agents will see how you treat him and not want to come here”.

The sports media generally sides with the athlete. Slowly, though, we’re hearing more grumblings about certain QBs making too much. So, what’s going to be done about it? Can anyone say QB salary cap? Maybe funnel money to other players, like Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry?

When COH found out Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott was asking for—and getting—a $60 million per year contract, he had enough. Even if Dak was the best QB ever, the amount of money he and other QBs make is crazy.
