We look at the Neoclassical Clytha Park, marvel at one of Wales's greatest follies created by a heartbroken widower, and meet two of Victorian Monmouthshire's most captivating characters: the brilliant sportsman, gambler and hater of toll booths, Reggie Herbert, and the 3 ft 6 inch Henry Dyke, secretary of many local societies, an integral part of the South Wales racing scene and the most unlikely of duellers.

P.S: Rewatching this I noticed a slip of the tongue. It was Sir Mark Wood (MP for Newark) who owned Piercefield and Pencoed Castle and not 'Thomas'. I must have had Thomas Wood (MP for Breconshire) in my mind. Apologies - Paul.
