1. Passengers are not allowed to enter.
– This does not apply to:
– nationals and residents of Cameroon;
– passengers with a visa.
2. Passengers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 3 days before departure from the first embarkation point.
– This does not apply to passengers younger than 5 years.
3. Passengers are subject to a COVID-19 rapid antigen test upon arrival.



Detailed Tourist Information
Access across Cameroon’s land and sea borders is currently restricted.

Air borders also remain largely closed, but authorities have permitted several airlines to resume limited flights. Services by Air France (AF), Brussels Airlines (SN), and Ethiopia Airlines (ET) will operate out of Douala International Airport (DLA) and Yaounde Nsimalen International Airport (NSI).

All citizens and residents intending to travel to Cameroon must present a negative COVID-19 test taken up to 72 hours before the flight. In addition, travelers from countries with active cases of the disease face compulsory testing at the port of entry.

Travelers without a test, travelers who display symptoms, or travelers who test positive face a 14-day quarantine at a government-approved hotel.

It is currently unclear when regular air travel will resume.


Lockdown Details
Travel within the country should be limited to essential travel only. The authorities have banned public transport (taxis, buses, motorbikes) from taking more passengers than they have seats.

Gatherings of over 50 people are prohibited. Restrictions on bars, restaurants and entertainment spots have been lifted. The use of protective face masks is mandatory in all public spaces nationwide. Individuals found to be violating the measure are liable to be sanctioned by authorities.
