Is this the silent treatment or permanent discard? Knowing when the silent treatment turns into the permanent discard helps you feel more in control or a relationship the narcissist is trying to control.

In today's video you'll learn how to stop the silent treatment, or at least how to step away from the narcissist silent treatment.

I also discuss if the silent treatment is abuse and how the silent treatment in relationships might be temporary, but with an unknown timeline it might feel unnerving to never know if this is the permanent discard.

How do you know if the silent treatment the narcissist is again giving you is the permeant discard? Is the silent treatment by narcissist going to become the permanent discard and if so, how do you know? How long does the silent treatment last and how do you guess this time whether it will be the same as the last time? Staying strong during the silent treatment is hard. You might not even know why the narcissist is giving you the silent treatment. Was it something you did? Or didn’t do? The silent treatment is a form of emotional abuse and when you can better understand all of the signs of emotional abuse then you can better protect yourself from the toxic relationship of the narcissist. How to stop the silent treatment may never be known and this makes it even harder to predict whether this is the permanent discard. You can’t learn how to deal with silent treatment if you don’t even know if that is what you are experiencing. The narcissist likes to keep you confused so that they can control you. The narcissist will end the silent treatment if they need to refill their supply. However, the narcissist discard will be permanent if the narcissist finds a new supply who can refill their supply. The reason why narcissist discard happens is because it is what they need and it has nothing to do with you, even though it might feel personal. The problem has never been you, and you must remember that.
