We knew there would be obstacles on this path, but this was a large pothole in the middle of the road. Literally.

We left Durban ready for our first week of van life, fuelled with excitement, nerves, hope, and an adventurous spirit.
We had no idea what a blow this first week would be.

It made us question everything. Especially as Ballies (South African slang - meaning - the elderly), at our age, could we handle more blows like this? Is van life really for us? Are we cut out for this?
