The Ghadar Party was an Indian revolutionary organisation with its headquarters in San Francisco, United States. Important members of the Ghadar Party also known as Pacific Coast Hindustan Association were Bhai Parmanand, Sohan Singh Bhakna, Har Dayal, Mohammad Iqbal Shedai, Kartar Singh Sarabha, Abdul Hafiz Mohamed Barakatullah, Sulaman Choudhary, Aamir Choudhary, Rashbehari Bose and Gulab Kaur. The Pacific Coast Hindustan Association/GHADAR PARTY was formed by Indian immigrants under the leadership of Har Dayal, with Sohan Singh Bhakna as its president, which later came to be called the Ghadar Party. The Hindustan Ghadar was the weekly publication of GHADAR PARTY whose objective was to further the militant nationalist faction of the Indian independence movement, especially amongst Indian sepoys of the British Indian Army. Ghadar party saw World War One as the opportunity to attack the Britishers. They published small pamphlets named Ghadar Sandesh, Ailan-i-Jang, Tilak, Nadar Mauqa, Canada da Duhhra, Naujavan Utho, Sachchz Pukar, and so on which were published in Urdu, Hindi and English.
