Winter Wonderland: Eagle Tree
Wendall is a small, Southern Idaho town, defined by unreal natural beauty. The magnificent Snake River runs nearby and in winter, the water and surrounding trees bring a new kind of seasonal wonder: the majestic bald eagle. Located just north of Box Canyon State Park, and sitting between beautiful farmland, is West Point Restaurant. All around this “shack” are trees hosting countless bald eagles. Depending on the day, a visitor may see up to 80 eagles in the tree called Eagle Tree. Visit the tree, when you follow the flight of one bald eagle in particular on this episode of Uncover Idaho!
