On Day 13 of my epic solo ride from Odisha to Ladakh, I rode 170 km from Sarchu to Manali — one of the most breathtaking stretches of the entire journey!
The ride took me across the mighty Baralacha La, where the raw beauty of the Himalayas hits you differently. Snow-capped peaks, unpredictable weather, and high-altitude roads made this ride both challenging and unforgettable.
I also stopped at the mesmerizing Suraj Tal, one of the highest lakes in India. The crystal-clear blue waters surrounded by rugged mountains created a view straight out of a dream.
From the cold deserts of Sarchu to the lush valleys of Himachal Pradesh near Manali, every kilometer was filled with adventure, peace, and pure rider’s emotion.
This journey is not just about distance — it’s about freedom, self-discovery, and chasing horizons alone on two wheels.
