ABOUT ME:

I'm 43 years old. I was born with Spina Bifida. I walk with the aide of crutches. I live in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and work full time for the federal government.

Why fragrances?

I used to beg my grandfather for a spray of his cologne (Aramis) every Sunday before church. From the time I sat in those pews, to this very day, I have a love affair with fragrance. I started my journey way back then. After writing reviews for Scent Gents online magazine, I attended my very first industry event In 2019, the launch of Parfums De Marly Sedley in New York. It's been a whirlwind ride ever since.

Fragrance is a passion, but I want to do so much more than review them. I've noticed for awhile now that there's a lack of representation of the disabled community in the fragrance industry. I want to change that.

The disabled community is a vibrant, LOYAL community that's thriving. We love to look and smell good, and we have the capital to back purchases. It would be mutually valuable to see someone that looks like me or the people I know, love and cherish considered in a public way by those in decision making roles. Representation Matters!
