have you seen the new Elvis movie yet? If you haven't you should go asap and check it out, it is brilliant.

We came back from the movies remembering what a great, great artist and personality Elvis was and the music always spoke for itself. So Gerard and me seized the opportunity and gave this classic song a go.


Most important thing in my opinion when you do covers, don't try to be as close to the original as possible but dare to move away from it and try to make it your song.... Cause let's be honest, if I could choose between the original singer and someone almost like him I would always go for the original....cause they do it best 😊 But if someone does his or her own thing, that's what makes me think it's interesting.... 😊
Just do it the way YOU wanna do it.

Youtube and social media make us so vulnerable, don't you think? We start comparing ourselves to others and I think we should all relax a bit more.... Everybody has a unique voice or something special about them and you shouldn't be applauded for being yourself.... It should actually be seen as a "normal thing" to be worthy without picture perfect filter I Stas and reels right?

But back to the song.

So this is our lazy afternoon lounge room take and we hope you like it.

I love recording songs with Gerard cause he has such a distinct and beautiful voice and I have never heard him sing something sooooo heartfelt and "stripped down"..... I love it. ❤️
