Understanding MS - Social Isolation & MS

Описание: Our MS Research Flagship runs a free online course called Understanding Multiple Sclerosis (MS). This course aims to improve understanding and awareness of MS and allow members of the public to increase their knowledge of MS-related issues. It also empowers members of the MS Community to create and contribute to personalised MS management plans.

As an addition to the Understanding MS course, we recently hosted a Facebook live discussion all about social isolation and MS. Hosted by Dr Suzi Claflin, members of the MS Community came together from around Australia to discuss the effects of social isolation, their personal experiences, how COVID-19 influences social isolation, and their coping strategies. They were also joined by Melbourne based psychologist and special guest Dr Sally Shaw, who focuses on providing support to people living with MS.
